This evening, Melanie, Mark and I loaded the kiln and started a glaze firing. I’ll get to see the results Saturday. This is the first glaze load we’ve fired since we replaced the kiln elements. We’ve run a couple bisque firings, which were absolutely consistent, so I have my fingers crossed. Lots of mugs and bowls and fun stuff in this load. I’ll post photos in the Flickr set as soon as we have something to show. There are at least 3 more glaze loads work of wares on the shelves, so we’ll be firing as regularly as possible before Christmas. Looks like there might be some pottery presents this year after all.
