Back to work
I’m pleased to say it looks like I’m going to get back to work in the studio soon. Melanie and Wayne are back home and getting around a bit better and the studio is warming back up. We fired a few glaze loads to get everything from the summer caught up. At this point, everything that needed to be fired is in the kiln, or has been fired. Monday night I loaded the last of the waiting glazed pieces for firing, and wedged up my months-old supply of clay. One block was even nice and moldy. Melanie said the Chinese potters buried their clay for generations and favored moldy clay. We’ll see why soon. I think it’s time to start throwing again. I can hardly wait.
Photos of the most recently fired pieces will be on my Flickr stream real soon now.

welcome to te
Tray makes some really nice pottery. I was lucky to have acquired some when we lived in Virginia. It’s good to see that he’s still throwing.
